Why We’re Here—and Where We’re Going

Texas Museums 360 is a consortium of leading museums committed to transforming classroom learning through digital, TEKS-aligned curricula powered by trusted museum expertise. We connect the curiosity and wonder of museum learning with the daily rhythm of the Texas classroom, offering students and teachers access to authentic artifacts, expert storytelling, and place-based investigations rooted in our state’s natural and cultural heritage.

Founded by the Witte Museum and Space Center Houston, Texas Museums 360 brings together education, science, and museum professionals to co-create content that supports inquiry-based, standards-driven learning. Our work builds on more than 125 years of combined experience engaging Texas students and educators through exhibitions, field experiences, and hands-on science programming.

We are teachers. We are scientists. We are museum people. And we believe that every classroom deserves access to the depth, trust, and excitement of museum-powered learning.

Texas Museums 360 is built to grow. In the coming years, we’ll expand our curriculum offerings, welcome new museum partners, and serve more students across a wider range of subjects and grade levels. We envision a future where Texas classrooms are powered by the same spirit of wonder and authenticity that defines the museum experience—every day, for every child.
